Speed Demos

Diablo II in two hours? Quake II in 20 minutes? Don't think it's possible? Then check out the Speed Demos Archive, which features downloadable videos of various games being completed in record amounts of time. The Super Mario Bros. files, especially, have to be seen to be believed.

  • Meh. All the guy did in SMB was warp. And I'm sure the warp whistles are used in SMB3 - How else would you get to world 8 in 11 min.?

    I really wanna watch the Banjo-Kazooie one, but it would take about 4 years to download.

  • True, the Mario videos aren't really impressive in terms of the amount done, but when you look at the actual skill involved in the timing of the levels played, they seem very impressive. These games have a very specific timing to them that these players seem to have been able to master.

  • That's the thing. For some reason only the audio would play, not the video. It prolly was more impressive than it sounds.

    Then again the divx site keeps killing my IE so I just played it with Real.
