Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit
Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit (R2 UK) arrived this morning from Play.com. I enjoyed it quite a lot, although I feel it's the second weakest of the four films overall (A Grand Day Out being the poorest, in relative terms). It was certainly very funny and nicely animated, but it didn't come close to matching The Wrong Trousers, which, if you ask me, is about as perfect an animated short as you can get. Perhaps it's because lengthening the format to fit a feature film running time gives the impression that things are being padded out unneccessarily, or perhaps it's because a number of the elements used in this film feel as if they were lifted from A Close Shave.Still, this is a perfectly enjoyable movie, and I'll expand on what I like about it in my upcoming review. 8/10
