Oh. My. God. John Lasseter, please put a stop to this. The original wasn't exactly that great to begin with, but this cheapquel makes it look like The Godfather.

Well, I had good memories of the original, one of the first Disneys I watched in my childhood (and never fully re-watched since). A movie Disney almost forgot in the following years: maybe it was too dark-toned for their positive corporate attitude, who knows. This "sequel", in fact, looks awfully optimistic and cheerful.

I really like the original, one of Disney's darkest and most underrated films unlike the way it is usually marketed. It probally had the most tear-jerking scene out of any Disney film I've ever seen.
Nice to see this one is carrying the legacy... not.
