Comments

NoShame have come through! After delivering so many inferior transfers for their American releases, they have finally managed to provide one that is very close to the quality of its Italian variant. While there is some difference in detail between the two, it is significantly less drastic than in their previous releases, and the stair-stepping effect that plagued, for example, their Luciano Ercoli DVDs, is almost completely absent. The US release features the English dub and optional English subtitles for the Italian dub, a whole host of extras, and to top it all comes in a very cool limited edition box set with its stable-mate The Night Evelyn Came Out of the Grave and an incredibly nifty 12cm Red Queen action figure. All that's missing, for some reason, is the theatrical trailer which appears on the Italian release - bizarre, considering that brief clips from it are shown in the Barbara Bouchet interview featurette.

No debate: get yourself a copy of the US release before they sell out.
