HD DVD review: Les Triplettes de Belleville

It’s great to see more traditional animation becoming available in high definition, particularly when it’s a film as good as Les Triplettes de Belleville. With its solid audio-visual presentation, this release is a must-have for HD DVD-ready animation aficionados.

“Swinging Belleville rendez-vous…” I’ve reviewed the recent French HD DVD release of Sylvain Chomet’s excellent Les Triplettes de Belleville.

Any chance, btw, that you could "upgrade" the HD image quality rankings to be a bigger part of the site with updates whenever you check out new HD discs?

Think this would be a potentially useful and interesting 'section.'

Yeah, I’ll certainly look into it. I’ve been considering the possibility of a permanent page for a while now.

Please do, a lot of us lurking out here who value your opinion on this as opposed to the dodgy Digest guys (see their A Mighty Heart review and "explanation" as to why it got a low PQ score... jeez).
