And since this is German too, I'm not sure if I really do believe that this is an official release.

A lot of the German giallo releases have this cover. Don’t get me wrong, I think there is a good chance that this release is “suspect” (I doubt Paramount would have given Retrofilm the rights if they weren’t willing to give them to the Argentos), but no more so than the many other German releases from the likes of X-rated and Retrofilm.

Bootleg or not, I suspect this is the best we will get for quite awhile. Personally speaking I have been waiting years for this to arrive and now here it is, finally available on dvd. By the way I do like that unusual snap case.
